Ranging from dysfunctional relationships to systemic struggles, it’s safe to say the narrators in these songs tell stories of adversity. But how do they do it? Well, it could be with a sick bassline, a throbbing beat, or a catchy hook. Whatever it is, it almost compels you to groove along. If you have to be sad, at least you can dance at the same time.
